Soul Midwives are non-medical, holistic companions who guide and support the dying.
Our aim is to facilitate a gentle and tranquil passing by lovingly comforting
and accompanying their journey. Our services can be applied within someone’s own home,
hospital or hospice. We aim to provide the transition experience he or she wants,
in addition to looking after the emotional needs and questions of both family and loved ones.
We recognise the individual needs of the dying person and ensure they feel loved
and supported by providing gentle therapeutic techniques ensuring compassionate care at all times.
We are non-denominational, multi-faith practitioners who honour and respect the dying person’s
religious/spiritual or atheist/agnostic beliefs about life, death or the afterlife.
We work holistically with the spirit and soul of our friends at all levels and stages of transition,
giving healing, using sound, touch, colour, scented oils or other gentle techniques
to alleviate pain and anxiety throughout.
